Empowering Those Around Us
Our amazing team of participants and volunteers are committed to showing up every Saturday. We take our goals and turn them into action. Think you would be a good fit either as a participant or a volunteer? Get in touch for more information!
Dream Runners was born from a desire to create an inclusive environment for individuals with special needs while working on goals on the track. Many great friendships have been built on the track between participants and buddies. "The track is where distance is measured in smiles."
To encourage participants to engage in physical activity through walking or running while having meaningful interactions with their buddy.
Testimonials
"Participating in Dream Runners has given Meredith the opportunity to develop relationships with typical peers at her high school while also improving her health and fitness. The friendships formed through Dream Runners help promote inclusion at school and the community, allowing Meredith to have deeper and more meaningful interactions with her peers."

"We LOVE Dream Runners! Brett has been running with the club for 3 years, and his progress has been amazing. Unless he is encouraged, Brett will walk at the pace of a slow stroll. But once he hits the track with Coach Amy and his buddy Leandrea, he is able to run most of the time and puts in 3 miles plus with a smile on his face! Brett also loves to see his friends on the track, and the moms love to walk and talk while the Dream Runners practice. We are looking forward to the 5K run at the end of the season!"
